Looking through the TMTA Fall 2013 Publication, I was intrigued by the title “Top Five Teaching Pieces” compiled by Teresa Crawford. On this page, thirteen teachers across Texas had sent in their favorite teaching pieces. I loved reading through the list and hope to order a few that I am missing in my collection! I’m always looking for new pieces especially at the late elementary level. For some reason, I never have enough pieces that are simple enough for these students yet sound hard when performed. And we all know that’ the type of piece that every student wants right?!

So today I thought, why not share my a few of my favorite piece with you and ask for your favorites too! Please comment below with your favorite teaching pieces – any level is fine. I’m searching for Junior Festival music and a few new Christmas pieces so thanks in advance for your help!
