Is your studio ready for a fun summer? So many fun camps and lessons happen during the summer so my students seem to be busier than ever even though school’s out. For my students, I wanted a new practice chart, something super fun but not too difficult and something a little different than our usual.

Enter the Summer Piano Challenge – I designed this page to encourage 6 weeks of practice this summer for my piano studio. That’s all the lessons we’re fitting in since school here in Seattle doesn’t get out till the end of June (yikes!). And with vacation plans, that doesn’t leave time for a long summer semester here!

My students will color in a circle as they practice each day. But you could also use stickers or just check off the circles. The challenges along the sides and bottom of the page, will mix it up this summer! And take time to to personalize the memorization challenge for each student.

Finally, make sure to have an awesome prize for completing the challenge! I’m still looking on Oriental Trading and Amazon to see what is summer-ish – maybe a fun pool float? Or a pineapple keychain? (Anyone else thing that buying prizes is just way too fun?!)

If you have a great idea to add to the page let me know in the comments below! I always love to hear new ideas from our readers.
